Sergeant in the British Parachute Regiment – Custom Printed Brick Block Figure

The character is a Sergeant in the British Parachute Regiment during the World War II era. He represents a generic non-commissioned officer (NCO), a vital leader at the squad level, rather than a specific historical person. His identity as an elite airborne soldier is established by the iconic red beret (officially maroon), a famous symbol of the British airborne forces that had to be earned through arduous training. The mustache is also a common feature for soldiers of that period.

The items in the picture consist of the minifigure and his weapon accessory:

• The toy minifigure is wearing a khaki British battledress uniform. Printed over the uniform is detailed 1937 Pattern Webbing, the standard load-bearing equipment used by British forces. This includes the straps and belt system, as well as the large ammunition pouches on his chest specifically designed to hold magazines for a Bren gun.
• The weapon accessory is a model of the Bren light machine gun. This was the primary light support weapon for British and Commonwealth infantry squads. The model is detailed, showing the Bren’s most distinctive features: its top-mounted curved magazine, carrying handle, and the small bipod at the front for firing from a prone position.
