British Paratrooper from an airborne unit during World War II Red Devil – Custom Printed Brick Block Figure

This minifigure represents an enlisted British Paratrooper from an airborne unit during World War II. He is identified by the text in the image as a “Red Devil.” The nickname “Red Devils” (in Chinese: 红魔伞兵, Hóngmó sǎnbīng, “Red Devil Paratrooper”) was a famous title for British paratroopers, earned for their fierce combat reputation and their iconic red berets.

This character is a generic representation of a standard airborne soldier—an ordinary “Tommie” (a slang term for a British private soldier)—who would have formed the main fighting force of the Parachute Regiment in major battles like Normandy and Arnhem.

The items in the picture consist of the detailed minifigure and his rifle:

• The toy minifigure is wearing the iconic red beret with the Parachute Regiment cap badge. Unlike other variations that wear a camouflage smock, this soldier is depicted in the standard-issue British Battledress uniform, which was the main khaki-brown service uniform for the entire British Army. He has printed webbing with ammunition pouches over his tunic.
• His weapon accessory is a Lee-Enfield No. 4 Mk I rifle. This powerful and reliable bolt-action rifle was the primary weapon for most British and Commonwealth paratroopers and infantrymen throughout the war.
