law enforcement officer from the Macau Special Administrative Region (SAR) of China – Custom Printed Brick Block Figure

The Figure: Macau Judiciary Police Officer (Polícia Judiciária)

This toy minifigure represents a law enforcement officer from the Macau Special Administrative Region (SAR) of China. Specifically, the text and insignia identify him as a member of the Judiciary Police (PJ).

• Headgear: He wears a distinctive Maroon Beret (Dark Red).

  • Insignia: The beret features a silver Cap Badge depicting the emblem of the force. While the Macau Public Security Police (CPSP) typically wear blue berets, this specific maroon color is often associated with specialized tactical or ceremonial units in various police forces, or it serves as a unique identifier for this toy series.

• Uniform: He is dressed in a formal Dark Blue Tunic and Trousers.

  • Rank & Insignia: The collar features silver Star Insignia (gorget patches), indicating rank.

  • Details: On his left shoulder, he wears a silver Lanyard (braided cord), which is a traditional element of ceremonial police dress in regions with Portuguese influence. A police badge is printed on his left breast pocket.

• Face: The figure has a standard, friendly male face print.

Historical & Cultural Background: Macau was a Portuguese colony until 1999, and its police forces still retain many Portuguese-style traditions and uniform elements. The Judiciary Police (Polícia Judiciária) is the premier criminal investigation agency in Macau, distinct from the uniformed Public Security Police. They are responsible for investigating serious crimes like organized crime, gaming-related offenses (due to Macau’s casino industry), and money laundering. While real-world PJ detectives usually wear plain clothes or tactical vests labeled “PJ,” this figure presents a stylized, ceremonial version of the force.
