Introduction
Collection Introduction
The Medieval Monastery Six Clerics Collection brings together three brown-robed monks, a brown-habit nun, a black-habit nun and a black-robed priest. Their different clothing, expressions and equipment create a varied group for monastery-inspired interiors, courtyards, village scenes and other religious-themed brick displays.
Staff not included: The staff/crozier shown in some individual images is not included in this collection.
Included: Six complete figures, one of each design described below, with their listed hood, shoulder cowl, veil-style headwear, hairpiece, tankard, pipe, chalice, books and rosaries. There is one hooded monk with a tankard and rosary; one bare-headed monk with a book and rosary; one monk with a shoulder cowl, pipe and gold-colored chalice; two nuns, each with veil-style headwear, a book and rosary; and one priest with black hair, a book and rosary. Multiple views show the same six designs and do not add extra figures or equipment. No staff or crozier is included.

Historical / Thematic Background
This collection creates an imagined religious community through differences in costume, expression and equipment. The three monks share brown robe and rope-belt artwork, but their hood, book, pipe and drinking vessels give each a distinct presence. The two nuns introduce contrasting brown-and-light and black-and-white clothing, while the priest’s buttoned black garment and side-swept hair add another recognizable character to the group.
Together, the figures can populate a cloister walkway, a reading room, a chapel-inspired interior or a village courtyard. Books and rosaries suit quiet scenes, while the tankard, pipe and chalice offer different poses around a table or doorway. Arranging the figures in smaller conversations can give a larger building several points of interest, rather than presenting the whole group in a single line.
The monastery setting is a broad design theme that leaves the builder free to choose the community’s architecture and story. Printed crosses, garment folds and bead motifs connect the figures visually, while the separate props give their hands and poses variety. The contrasting robes, veils and collar make the characters easy to distinguish, allowing the same six figures to support both an intimate interior scene and a larger village display.
