Detailed Character Identification, Description, and Historical Background

Character Identification

A green kraken-emblem fantasy knight with a silver-colored helmet, green plume, poleaxe and matching kite shield.

Detailed Character Description

The silver-colored closed helmet carries a sweeping green plume. Green and brown printed armor bears a pale tentacled emblem, with matching green decoration on the shoulder armor. Teal clothing and brown leg artwork appear beneath the armor, and gray hands hold the long dark poleaxe. The green kite shield has a turquoise border and pale kraken emblem. Insets show the front and back of the same armor and an uncovered face detail; they do not represent extra figures.

Historical / Thematic Background

This knight combines medieval-inspired armor with an invented sea-monster emblem. The kraken belongs to Scandinavian sea folklore and is commonly imagined as a great tentacled creature. Its appearance on this shield gives the miniature a fantasy identity; it does not identify a documented medieval order, national army or historical person. The pale tentacles stand out against dark green, with turquoise edging framing the kite-shaped shield.

Medieval European military equipment developed over many centuries, and helmets, shields, mail and plate elements appeared in different combinations. This toy draws on that broad visual vocabulary through its enclosed helmet, shoulder armor and patterned clothing. The long poleaxe adds an on-foot combat theme. It is a model weapon included with this character, rather than evidence that the figure reproduces one particular surviving suit or a precisely dated military unit.

For a castle or fantasy display, the green plume and repeated kraken artwork distinguish the knight from the red griffin and blue horse-emblem companions. The equipped front view keeps its poleaxe and shield together, while the smaller panels show the same armor from additional angles. It can serve as a gate guard, a rival champion or a member of an imagined coastal faction. Those display possibilities are fictional settings, with the actual included equipment remaining the pictured helmet, plume, armor, shield and poleaxe.
