Detailed Character Identification, Description, and Historical Background
Character Identification
One complete Golden Lion medieval fantasy army with thirteen human figures and three equipped horses.
Detailed Character Description
Thirteen human figures wear coordinated red-and-blue lion heraldry. Four armored foot figures stand at the front; two kettle-helmet foot figures, two archers and two further armored/plumed foot figures form the following ranks. The orange-bearded crowned king and two mounted lancers stand at the rear on three white horses with red-and-blue lion barding and gray head armor. Shields, black capes, blue plumes, lion standards and red-and-blue lance pennants accompany the group on a large light-colored baseplate.
Historical / Thematic Background
The Golden Lion army repeats a gold-colored lion across blue shield fields, clothing, horse coverings and standards. Red-and-blue panels unite the foot soldiers with the cavalry, while silver-colored helmets and blue plumes provide consistent accents. An orange-bearded king with a gold-colored crown and white royal collar or cape leads the mounted portion of the display. The three white horses add another contrast to the red-and-blue heraldic equipment.
The actual formation contains thirteen human figures: ten on foot and three riders. Four armored front-rank figures form the forward line, with kettle-helmet troops, archers and additional plumed fighters arranged behind them. The king and two lancers supply the mounted command group. Together these roles support an imagined royal escort, castle defense or gathering of a fantasy retinue; they do not establish a real historical dynasty, country, military order or battle.
The lion motif follows the broad visual tradition of heraldic identification on shields and horse coverings, interpreted here through the supplied toy designs. The large light-colored baseplate holds the photographed formation and is included with the set. All pictured weapons, shields, armor, capes, banners, pennants and equestrian equipment accompany the corresponding figures and horses. The separate formation-detail composition shows the same army again for closer inspection, with no additional people or horses implied.
Included Contents
Thirteen human figures (ten foot figures and three riders, including the king), three complete horses with their pictured equestrian equipment, all pictured weapons, shields, armor, capes, standards and pennants, plus the large baseplate shown with this army. The main and formation-detail images show the same included set; repeated views do not add extra figures or horses.
