A red field combines a gold-bordered Canadian national-flag canton with the Army’s white maple-leaf badge, crossed swords and St Edward’s Crown. This is the Canadian Army command design unveiled in 2016, with heraldic approval in 2018. It is distinct from earlier white-field Army flags and differently crowned later artwork.
