MOC – Heavy Expanded Mobility Tactical Truck (HEMTT) – Classic Size Building Blocks

The item is a German Army Officer Visor Cap (Schirmmütze) accessory, designed for minifigures.

German Army (Wehrmacht) Officer Visor Cap (Dark Green & Black) This is a custom molded and printed headgear accessory representing the standard peaked cap worn by German officers. It features a Dark Green crown (representing the field grey wool) contrasting with a Black velvet band around the base. The cap is detailed with Silver/White accents, including the Chin Cords (indicating officer rank), the Wehrmacht Eagle (Reichsadler) on the peak, and the Oak Leaf Wreath with Cockade on the band.

Background: The Schirmmütze was the iconic service cap worn by officers of the Heer (Army) throughout World War II. While the standard issue cap had a field grey top and a dark green band, this “Dark Green” variation is a common stylistic representation for military building blocks, often used to depict Infantry Officers or commanders in the field. The silver chin cords distinguish this wearer as a commissioned officer (ranging from Lieutenant to Colonel), separating them from enlisted soldiers who wore plain black leather straps or side caps.
