MOC – Multi-Launch Rocket System (MLRS) – Classic Size Building Blocks

The item is a German Panzer Winter Fur Cap (Pelzmütze) accessory, designed for minifigures.

German Panzer Winter Fur Cap / Pelzmütze (Black) This is a custom molded headgear accessory in Black, representing the thick, fur-lined winter caps issued to German troops. The design features the characteristic shape of an “Ushanka” style hat with the ear flaps tied up at the crown. The front is detailed with a high-quality print of the silver Wehrmacht Eagle (Reichsadler) situated above the National Cockade and Oak Leaf Wreath, indicating its use by officers or NCOs.

Background: The Pelzmütze (Fur Cap) became an essential piece of equipment for the Wehrmacht on the freezing Eastern Front after the bitter winter of 1941-42. Modeled after the Russian Ushanka, it provided far better protection against the cold than standard field caps. The Black version shown here was specifically issued to Panzer (Tank) crews to match their black uniforms, distinguishing them from the standard infantry (who wore field grey). In a LEGO diorama, this is the perfect accessory for a Tank Commander or an officer in a winter battle scene like Stalingrad or the Battle of the Bulge.
