German SS Female Auxiliary or Physical Training Instructor, specifically in sports attire – Custom Printed Brick Block Figure

This image displays a toy minifigure representing a German SS Female Auxiliary or Physical Training Instructor, specifically in sports attire.

The Figure: SS Sports Auxiliary / DW Assistant This figure represents a member of the Nazi organization’s support staff, likely depicted during physical training or a sports event.

• Uniform: She is wearing a White Tank Top (Singlet) and Black Sports Shorts. This was typical athletic wear for the period.

• Insignia: The defining feature is the SS Sig Runes logo printed in a circle on the chest of her white shirt. This clearly identifies her affiliation with the SS organization.

• Appearance: She has short reddish-brown hair and a smiling expression with freckles.

• Role: The term “DW” likely refers to “Deutsche Wehrmacht” (German Armed Forces) or potentially a mistranslation/abbreviation for a specific auxiliary branch like the SS-Helferinnen (SS Auxiliaries). Given the sports attire, she could represent a participant in the Bund Deutscher Mädel (BDM) or SS sports competitions, which were heavily promoted by the regime to cultivate physical fitness.

Historical Background: Physical fitness was a core obsession of the Nazi regime. Organizations like the SS and the BDM placed immense importance on athletics, gymnastics, and competitive sports to build a “healthy and strong” population. Female auxiliaries (Helferinnen) supported the SS in communications and administrative roles, but they were also required to maintain high physical standards. This figure captures that aspect of the era’s ideology, focusing on the athletic culture within the SS.
