Infantryman from the Royal Italian Army Regio Esercito during the World War II – Custom Printed Brick Block Figure

This minifigure represents an infantryman from the Royal Italian Army (Regio Esercito) during the World War II era. He is a generic representation of a standard Italian soldier, or Fante, who would have fought in campaigns across North Africa, the Balkans, the Eastern Front, and Italy itself. The text in the image, “Italian Carcano” and “意大利步兵” (Yìdàlì bùbīng, “Italian Infantryman”), confirms this identity.

His uniform and equipment are a historically accurate depiction of the Italian military during that period.

The items in the picture consist of the detailed minifigure and his accessories:

• The toy minifigure is wearing the standard M1940 grigio-verde (grey-green) wool uniform. A key detail is the printed red collar patches with a silver star, which was the universal insignia for most regular Italian Army regiments. He has printed brown leather webbing with ammunition pouches for his rifle.
• He comes with two headgear options: the main piece shown on his head is the standard-issue M33 steel helmet. An alternate soft Bustina field cap is also included.
• His weapon accessory is a Carcano rifle, as identified in the image text. The Carcano, produced in various models, was the standard-issue bolt-action rifle for the Italian military throughout the war.
