Detailed Character Identification, Description, and Historical Background

Character Identification

A generic green dragon soldier represented by the visible heraldic emblem, costume and spear. This listing sells one complete figure with its shown helmet, spear and shield. The parts image is another presentation of that figure, not a second figure.

Detailed Character Description

The figure has a dark gray open nasal helmet, a smiling yellow face with dark sideburn print, and dark green arms. Its green and pale green quartered tunic carries a gold dragon-head chest badge; printed mail, belt and strap details provide additional costume texture. The legs show tan upper legs and brown wrapped-boot print. It is presented with a separate gray spear and a heraldic shield depicting a green dragon on a cream and gold quartered shield. Metallic and cloth effects described here are colors or printing, not material claims.

The parts view also shows a separate pair of yellow hands beside the figure fitted with gray hands. The assembled and parts presentations show one figure, not two.

Historical / Thematic Background

Medieval heraldic designs made shields and clothing useful signs of identity. This Green Dragon soldier interprets that visual language through a green creature on a pale quartered shield and a matching dragon-head device on the torso. The name describes the emblem and costume; it does not identify a documented army or individual. The green and pale green clothing gives the figure a different appearance from the more heavily armored sword-bearing partner in the same theme.

The open helmet keeps the smiling expression visible, while the printed mail collar and boot details suggest a practical castle guard or infantry role in an invented setting. Its long spear and broad shield create a clear silhouette for gatehouse, wall-watch or marching scenes. Those suggested roles are display ideas rather than a claim that this particular heraldic design served in a historical campaign.

Placed alongside the Green Dragon knight, the soldier gives the faction two contrasting equipment styles without needing a named ruler or battle. The repeated shield emblem links them visually, while their different faces, helmets and clothing make each member distinct.
