Obergefreiter from the elite Großdeutschland Division of the German Army Heer World War II – Custom Printed Brick Block Figure

This minifigure represents an Obergefreiter (a rank equivalent to a Senior Private or Lance Corporal) from the elite Großdeutschland Division of the German Army (Heer) during World War II. The text in the image explicitly confirms his rank, uniform type, and unit.

The Großdeutschland Division was one of Germany’s premier combat formations, seeing extensive action throughout the war. This figure is a generic representation of an enlisted soldier from this unit. He is depicted in his formal Waffenrock (dress tunic) rather than a combat uniform. The Waffenrock was a highly ornate uniform used for parades, ceremonies, and as a walking-out dress when off-duty.

The items in the picture consist of the detailed minifigure and his personal luggage:

• The toy minifigure is wearing the Waffenrock dress tunic, which is distinguished by its intricate silver embroidery (Litzen) on the collar and cuffs. The white piping (Waffenfarbe) along the edges of the tunic signifies his branch as Infantry. His rank of Obergefreiter is shown by the chevron on his left sleeve, and his elite unit is identified by the “Großdeutschland” cuff title printed on his right arm.
• His headgear is a Stahlhelm (steel helmet) with the German Army eagle (Wehrmachtsadler) and national color decals printed on the sides. The head is double-sided, showing both a serious and a friendly expression.
• The accessory he is holding is a reddish-brown briefcase or suitcase, embossed with the word “Wehrmacht” and the army eagle. This represents the soldier’s personal luggage, suggesting he is traveling or on leave.
