Obermaat a senior non-commissioned officer NCO rank in the German Kriegsmarine Navy World War II – Custom Printed Brick Block Figure

This minifigure represents an Obermaat, a senior non-commissioned officer (NCO) rank in the German Kriegsmarine (Navy) during the World War II era. His identity is explicitly confirmed by the text at the bottom of the image, with “海军士官” (Hǎijūn shìguān) translating to “Naval NCO.”

An Obermaat was a rank equivalent to a Petty Officer First Class in other navies. These experienced NCOs were the backbone of the German navy, serving as leaders and technical specialists on all types of warships, from U-boats to battleships. This character is a generic representation of a naval NCO equipped for duty.

The items in the picture consist of the detailed minifigure and his submachine gun:

• The toy minifigure is wearing the dark blue service uniform of a Kriegsmarine NCO. His headgear is an NCO-style visor cap with the gold-colored eagle and cockade insignia of the navy. His tunic features a printed gold Kriegsmarine breast eagle, and his belt is equipped with ammunition pouches for a submachine gun.
• His weapon accessory is an MP40 submachine gun. This was one of the most famous German weapons of the war, known for its simple and effective design. While not standard issue for all sailors, it was commonly used by naval landing parties, guard details, and soldiers of the naval infantry.
