Soviet Red Army machine gunner fully equipped for winter combat during World War II – Custom Printed Brick Block Figure

This minifigure represents a Soviet Red Army machine gunner fully equipped for winter combat during World War II. He is a generic soldier, embodying the incredible resilience of the troops who fought in the brutal winter conditions of the Eastern Front in famous battles like Stalingrad and Moscow.

His role and setting are clearly defined by his historically specific clothing and weapon. The green face could represent either camouflage face paint or the harsh effects of extreme cold on the skin.

The items in the picture consist of the detailed minifigure and his light machine gun:

• The toy minifigure is wearing a Telogreika, the iconic Soviet padded and quilted winter uniform, which provided essential warmth. His headgear is a grey ushanka, the classic Russian fur hat with ear flaps that could be tied up at the crown or folded down to protect the face and ears from the cold. The hat is adorned with the Soviet red star insignia.
• His weapon is a Degtyaryov DP-27 light machine gun. This was the standard squad-level light machine gun for the Red Army during the war. The toy accessory accurately captures its most distinctive feature: the large, flat 47-round pan magazine on top, which earned the weapon the nickname “record player” among soldiers.
