Historical / Thematic Background

Yue Fei (1103–1142) was a Southern Song military commander whose later cultural image became closely associated with loyalty and service. This collectible presents an artistic interpretation of that named historical figure. The ornate clothing and weapons identify this particular miniature design; they are not presented as an authenticated portrait, a surviving personal outfit or equipment documented to a specific battle.

The silver-and-blue palette makes the layered armor and the long weapon easy to distinguish within the range. A broad blade with shaped edges rises above the helmet, while a blue scarf repeats the plume color at the neck. The gold-colored shoulder and waist ornaments keep the decorated commander theme visible. The small rear and underlying-uniform depictions refer to this same equipped figure.

The figure can be placed in a Song-themed military display or compared with the companion Yue Fei designs. Those companion versions vary the armor color, headgear and clothing to explore different presentations of the same named subject. Each individual listing contains one character with its own pictured equipment. Alternate poses, the small face detail and any underlying-clothing depiction help explain that single figure rather than increasing the number supplied.
